This example is finished in Nero (1250) with a Nero convertible soft top and a Tricolore racing stripe running down the center of the hood. Additional features include xenon headlights, heated mirrors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, 16M Scuderia badging, and dual exhaust finishers that exit through the rear valance. The soft top is said to be in fair condition, and the headlights were restored in April 2026.

The 19″ Scuderia alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires, and the tire-pressure warning light is illuminated. The 16M features a stiffened chassis and a retuned suspension with ZF dampers and titanium springs. Stopping is handled by silver-finished brake calipers fitted over Brembo carbon-ceramic rotors. The car is equipped with Magnetorheological dampers.

The cockpit features carbon-fiber-framed seats upholstered in Nero leather and cloth mounted over exposed diamond-plate aluminum flooring. Carbon fiber trims the console, door panels, and dashboard. Equipment includes an integrated iPod mount, air conditioning, drilled aluminum pedals, and power windows and locks. Sticky buttons are noted, and the steering-column casing exhibits the same issue.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel features an integrated LED shift light, an engine-start button, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and a manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 11k miles, approximately 1k of which were added during current ownership.

As mentioned below, my Scud also had the Ferrari Recall which consisted of replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap with one that has a pin hole at the top. Allowing the brake fluid reservoir to be at atmospheric pressure.

Named for Schumacher's 16 championships — still can't out-corner him though.
Aug 14, 2026 · 22:20
@F50gta FYI, when I took my 430 in for the cap replacement the dealer used this visit to attempt to pry more money from me by offering a "safety inspection".
I declined 🤨😁

@NCRSmaniac – Thank you! We really appreciate the kind words. That's exactly what we're trying to accomplish—represent the seller well while giving bidders as much information, documentation, and confidence as possible.
And you're right...the starting point certainly helps! Low miles, clean history, an incredible specification, and one of Ferrari's most special modern cars. We're excited to see where this one goes on Saturday morning!

@F50gta – Absolutely. The open recall is Ferrari Recall Campaign RC 80 / NHTSA 22V-536, which applies to the Scuderia Spider 16M and concerns the brake fluid reservoir cap. Ferrari's remedy is replacement of the cap at no charge; for the 16M, Ferrari's campaign documentation indicates the repair is the cap replacement without the instrument-panel software update required on some other affected models.
We were aware of the recall but did not see the value in transporting the car to the nearest authorized Ferrari dealer in Silicon Valley solely to have the reservoir cap replaced during our preparation for the auction. The car's servicing and preparation have otherwise been handled locally here in Monterey by specialists including Coppa Bella Motors and Forza Motors.
We wanted to leave the recall clearly disclosed so the next owner is aware of it and can have the free recall repair completed by an authorized Ferrari dealer at their convenience.
Hope that provides some additional clarity, and thank you for asking.

Seller here is really doing the right things to ensure the best auction outcome for themselves AND to give the buyer a lot of comfort in knowing what they're getting - KUDOS to them. Insane car to begin with, low miles, killer model, clean car fax, etc. What more could one ask for?

We wanted to share another recent item completed in preparation for the sale. As many Ferrari enthusiasts know, the polycarbonate headlights on the 430 Scuderia and 16M are prone to becoming cloudy over time, often developing the characteristic "spider web" cracking beneath the surface.
To address this, the headlights were professionally refinished by a local specialist here in Monterey. The results speak for themselves, bringing the lenses back to a clear, like-new appearance and dramatically improving the overall presentation of the car.
We've attached photos of the finished product for your review. It was one of several details addressed in preparation for this auction, and we believe it reflects the care taken to present this exceptional 16M at its very best.
Have a look, and as always, please let us know if you have any questions.

We wanted to share another stop from our Monterey Car Week Insider's Guide, where we paired this 430 Scuderia Spider 16M with one of the Peninsula's most iconic local landmarks—17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, CA.
For us, the Insider's Guide is about connecting special cars with the places that make Monterey Car Week unlike anywhere else. Few combinations felt more fitting than a Ferrari 16M cruising the coastline of Pebble Beach, so we captured that experience and included it in our guide.
Have a look at the video, enjoy the drive, and if you'd like to see more of our favorite local destinations and the cars we paired with them, be sure to check out the complete interactive Insider's Guide.
As always, thanks for following along, and please let us know if there is anything else you'd like to see before the auction concludes.

Having owned a 430 with Tubi exhaust it is interesting how much bass is in this car's exhaust note. A few more hp here than a 430 and they sound quiet different. Not bad, just different...

We wanted to share driving video of this incredible 430 Scuderia Spider 16M so everyone can experience what makes it so special.
Turn the volume up. The sound of the naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 climbing through the rev range is nothing short of intoxicating, and with the top down, it's about as close as most of us will ever get to feeling like Michael Schumacher on a weekend drive.
Having been fortunate enough to drive this very car on Monterey's roads over the better part of the last decade, we can honestly say it remains one of the most memorable modern Ferraris we've ever experienced. The immediacy of the steering, the lightning-fast shifts, and the raw soundtrack all combine to create an experience that feels every bit as special today as it did when it was new.
We hope this video captures a little of that magic. Enjoy, and as always, let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see before the auction ends.

@tvalli11 – We know... it's unfortunate that the original iPod Touch isn't still with the car to complete the package. We searched for years, checking eBay and aftermarket parts suppliers around the world, but never came across one for sale.
Coming from a Ferrari parts background—first as Operations Manager at T. Rutlands West in Monterey and later at GTO Engineering in Los Angeles—I've never come across one that wasn't spoken for.
I've been the primary caretaker of this 16M for over 5-years here in Monterey, showed the car at several concours & Ferrari club events, so I was optimistic we'd eventually track one down, but no luck.
We've attached the Hi-Fi System page from the parts diagram so everyone can see exactly which component is being referenced. And if anyone happens to know where a complete kit is available during auction week, we'd happily be a buyer!
